This kit is designed for dedicated road racing with 2001-2006 BMW E46 M3 models. It features AERO6R/ST six-piston calipers with a forged aluminum body and Type III Mil-Spec hard anodized finish in medium gray for superior wear and corrosion resistance.
The latest model of these calipers has a wider body to accommodate 20mm thick pads, extending service life. Thermlock® pistons minimize heat transfer for fade resistance and longer caliper life. Internal damper springs and controlled retraction ensure consistent pedal height. Caliper piston volumes match OE master cylinder output and ABS controls.
The kit is easily configured for manual brake conversions. Spec37 alloy GT competition series 14.00” diameter directional vane rotors are mounted to OE hubs with weight-saving forged aluminum hats, also hard anodized for durability.
Mounting brackets secure calipers to spindles with minor modifications. High-temperature, high-friction endurance compound race pads are included, along with stainless steel braided flexlines for installation ease.
- Road Race kits contain high temperature racing pads. Extended low temperature use will cause premature rotor and pad wear.
