High Performance Brake Pads are available for the D21 pad shape (C43 caliper), D22 (C42 caliper), & D31 (ST23 caliper).
Pads are sold as an axle set unless a "split pad" setup is chosen from the drop down menu above. The "split pad" setup includes a #2 compound for (1) corner and a #0 low-friction compound for (1) corner. This is a common front pad setup for dirt cars and helps the car turn into the corner.
-
The #0 Compound is perfect for low-torque applications. It delivers consistent, medium to low friction levels that increase as temperature rises. The pad offers exceptional fade resistance, release characteristics, and repeatable performance.
-
The #2 Compound is ideal for medium to high horsepower applications that require a higher level of friction. This pad offers friction levels similar to the #4 Compound, but with a linear friction curve that improves with temperature rise. Its excellent release characteristics and superb abraded disc wear make it a popular choice for high-temperature stability.
-
If you need less friction but want the same level of control as the #4 Compound, the #3 Compound is a great choice for rear applications. This pad has slightly less friction than the #4 Compound, but delivers excellent pedal modulation for applications requiring a medium friction level. Its flat friction curve with temperature rise ensures extreme fade resistance.
-
The #4 Compound is an all-purpose pad that delivers high grip and high power for a superior driving experience. With its exceptional pedal feel and modulation characteristics, this pad is formulated for high initial bite. It offers a slight friction rise with temperature and extremely low pad and abraded disc wear, making it a top choice for demanding applications.
-
The #5 Compound is the newest compound option (Dynalite or StopTech C42 size only) featuring even more bite than the #4 compound across all temperature ranges. This pad is designed for heavy tracks where extra brake power is needed, mostly for rear applications.
