StopTech aluminum caliper inlet fittings are available in -3 and -4 straight steel and banjo style.
- Each straight fitting requires (1) copper crush washer.
- Each banjo fitting requires (2) copper crush washers - one is installed on each side of the fitting.
- Fittings sold individually.
To utilize the banjo style, a banjo bolt is threaded into the inlet port on the caliper and replaces the straight steel -3 or -4 fitting. Then, a banjo fitting is installed into the banjo bolt with a copper washer on each side of the banjo fitting. This then allows a standard -3 or -4 flex brake line to be attached to the banjo fitting. The benefit of a banjo fitting is that it allows the brake line to be routed closer to the caliper body vs a straight fitting - this can help protect the flex line near moving suspension or steering parts.
